The German Solar Industry Association Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V. is the interest group of the German solar energy industry. Forming a strong community of companies, BSW-Solar acts as an informant and intermediary between business and the political and public sectors. It represents the common commercial interests of businesses within the solar energy value chain.
International Association of Electrical Inspectors
The International Association of Electrical Inspectors plays a strong leadership role in the electrical industry and its many organizations and associations. Because of its reputation for fairness and code-compliance, the association has long been labeled the Keystone of the Electrical Industry. Like the keystone, the association plays a cohesive role among testing agencies, standards organizations, manufacturers, distributors, and contractors.
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
The mission of the international nonprofit NFPA, established in 1896, is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. The world's leading advocate of fire prevention and an authoritative source on public safety, NFPA develops, publishes, and disseminates more than 300 consensus codes and standards intended to minimize the possibility and effects of fire and other risks. NFPA membership totals more than 70,000 individuals around the world.

Established in 1974, the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) is the national trade association of the U.S. solar energy industry. Through advocacy and education, SEIA is working to build a strong solar industry to power America. As the voice of the industry, SEIA works with its 1,000 member companies to make solar a mainstream and significant energy source by expanding markets, removing market barriers, strengthening the industry and educating the public on the benefits of solar energy.

Universal Photovoltaic Interface Alliance (UPVI)
The Universal PV Interface Alliance™ (UPVI) is a consortium of companies dedicated to accelerating and streamlining the integration of PV modules with module-level electronic devices. UPVI will create a standard interface which will increase competition while decreasing time to implementation, thereby reducing the overall cost of solar energy. UPVI members represent the entire range of the solar power ecosystem - from electronics manufacturer, to module vendors, to regulatory entities, and testing houses. This broad industry perspective will help ensure that the solutions produced by the UPVI meet the needs of all constituents and provide a true, universal interface.
